LOST BRUSCHETTA CARBONARA 🥖

Serves 2

Ingredients :

– 2 nice slices of country bread
– 1 egg
– Grated parmesan
– 1 tablespoon of milk
– Salt, pepper

For the carbonara-style cream :
– 40 g cream cheese (Philadelphia-style)
– 50 g grated parmesan
– 1 teaspoon of oil
– Black pepper
– 150 g bacon lardons
– A few fresh basil leaves
– 2 egg yolks

Preparation :

1. Blend the cream cheese, parmesan, oil, and pepper until you obtain a smooth and creamy texture. Set aside.

2. Sauté the lardons in a pan until they are nicely crispy. Set aside.

3. In a bowl, beat the whole egg with the milk and a generous amount of parmesan. Add salt and pepper, then dip the slices of bread into this mixture before browning them on each side in a pan with a little butter.
