Rustic Leek and Comté Tart That Will Wow the Whole Family

You may use a ready-made shortcrust pastry, but we strongly recommend making it from scratch—it’s really very simple. So, do you want to melt with delight? To make this recipe, follow the steps below:

RUSTIC LEEK AND COMTÉ TART RECIPE 🥧

Serves 4

Ingredients:

– 1 drizzle of olive oil
– 2 leeks
– 1 Tbsp soy sauce
– 1 shortcrust pastry
– 1 Tbsp old-fashioned mustard
– 100 g Comté
– 1 sprig thyme
– 1 egg yolk

Preparation :

1. Slice the leeks finely and sauté them in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil. When they have released all their water, add the soy sauce and cook for a few more minutes.

2. Roll out the shortcrust pastry, then brush a circle with old-fashioned mustard (leave a border of about 2 to 3 cm). Sprinkle half of the Comté, then arrange the leeks on top.

3. Scatter the remaining grated Comté and fold the edges of the pastry over the filling. Add a bit of thyme and glaze the edges with the egg yolk.

4. Bake for 25 minutes at 190°C. Enjoy immediately!
