These baked apples are perfect in winter to finish the meal on a indulgent and fruity note

It’s truly an ultra-simple and quick recipe to make at home! For successful baked apples, we recommend keeping the skin on your fruit. Be sure to wash them well beforehand or choose organic apples! Regarding the variety of fruit, opt for apples that hold up well to cooking such as Pink Lady, Granny Smith, or Golden from Limousin. Some are firmer than others, which have a texture closer to a compote after cooking; it’s up to you to choose what you like best.

We love adding pecans for the crunchy touch, but it’s not mandatory! Bon appétit 😋
