It’s creamy, it’s melting, it’s indulgent. In short, it’s irresistible.
We find all the elements of tartiflette, except the potatoes are ultimately replaced by squash. The onions are melting, the lardons are flavorful, and the Reblochon is ultra-melting… We bet you won’t be able to stop at just one toast! BUTTERNUT TOAST IN TARTIFLETTE STYLE 🧀
Serves 6
Ingredients :
– 1/2 butternut
– 1/2 Reblochon
– 2 large onions
– 100 g smoked lardons
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp paprika
– a drizzle of olive oil
– a few sprigs of fresh parsley
– salt, pepper
Preparation :
1. Cut the butternut squash into slices about 1 cm thick. Peel if needed, then place the slices on a baking sheet.
2. Sprinkle with garlic powder and paprika, then drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.
3. Meanwhile, sauté the sliced onions in a skillet with a splash of olive oil until they are nicely soft and caramelized.
4. In another skillet, brown the lardons. Set aside on paper towels.
5. Once the butternut is cooked, place a generous spoonful of caramelized onions, then a nice slice of Reblochon. Return to the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
6. When taken out of the oven, sprinkle with the grilled lardons and chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately!
