Gnocchi churros? Yes yes, you heard correctly. We couldn’t help but try this utterly indecent recipe, and the result is truly worth it. The gnocchi are soft and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside and crispy on the outside, they are caramelized and served in a chocolate egg for even more indulgence. It’s as nostalgic as it gets! We bet you won’t be able to resist…
Sweet air fryer gnocchi: the ultimate indulgence for a churros-style afternoon snack!
We hadn’t yet tried sweet gnocchi, but why not after all? Following the crispy recipe designed for appetizers, we present our air fryer gnocchi in a churros version for a wonderfully nostalgic and comforting afternoon snack! To make this treat, nothing could be easier: pan-fried gnocchi, butter, sugar, and cinnamon. We cook all this to achieve a melt-in-your-mouth, crispy, and nicely caramelized result. Already like this, it’s delicious!
But for an Easter snack, we decided to present them inside a chocolate egg with a generously thick layer of Nutella (or another spread of your choice)! Believe us, you won’t be able to eat just one… The recipe can be shared all year round, but it’s an original and nostalgic idea for Easter. You will delight both kids and adults!
