Cold brew coffee, another way to drink coffee
Before starting the recipe at home, let us explain what cold brew coffee is. Cold-brew coffee, originating from Japan, is another method of extracting coffee that involves “brewing” ground coffee in water at room temperature (or cold water) for an extended period. Roughly, you steep ground coffee in water for 12 to 24 hours and then filter everything using a coffee filter, a cloth, or a fine metal sieve (as in French presses).
This extraction method yields a coffee that is more concentrated, which will be diluted with water or milk, over ice, or even warmed for some. The flavor is therefore different from hot-brewed coffee but if you love coffee, you really should try it, it’s delicious! And today, we’re offering you a super indulgent tiramisu-style drink with a mousse made from cream, milk, and mascarpone for a super creamy and airy result. Vanilla syrup is optional if you prefer a less sweet iced drink, but it’s up to you to decide.

COLD BREW COFFEE TIRAMISU STYLE ☕️🥛
For 1 person
Ingredients :
– 3 Tbsp of cold, heavy cream (35% fat)
– 2 Tbsp of milk
– 1 Tbsp of mascarpone
– 1 Tbsp of vanilla syrup
– 1 large glass of cold brew coffee
– Ice cubes
– Unsweetened cocoa powder
Preparation :
1. Pour the cream, the milk, and the mascarpone into a bowl. Emulsify the mixture with a milk frother or a handheld blender for about 30 seconds to obtain a smooth, thick, and foamy texture like light whipped cream.
2. Fill a large glass with ice and pour the cold brew coffee and the vanilla syrup.
3. Add the cream on top of the coffee to create a beautiful layered effect and finish by dusting a little cocoa powder over the foam.
4. Enjoy well chilled!
