MARINATED CUCUMBER RIBBONS 🥒
Serves 2 to 4
Ingredients :
– 2 to 3 cucumbers
– 30 ml soy sauce
– 50 ml water
– 1 tablespoon sesame oil
– 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey)
– 1 tablespoon chili flakes
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
– 2 tablespoons vinegar (optional)
– 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
– 1 cm fresh ginger, minced (optional)
Preparation :
1. Create cucumber ribbons using a peeler along the entire length of the cucumber.
2. Layer 5 to 6 ribbons, then roll them gently. Place them in an airtight container, packing them tightly.
3. Prepare the marinade by mixing the soy sauce, water, sesame oil, sugar, chili flakes and chili pepper seeds. Add the vinegar, a crushed garlic clove and grated ginger (optional).
4. Pour the marinade over the cucumbers and marinate for 1 to 2 hours in the fridge.
