CROWN OF CRISPY BREADS WITH CREAM CHEESE AND CHERRY TOMATOES RECIPE

Serves 6
Ingredients:
– 1 baguette
– 250 g cream cheese with garlic and herbs
– 250 g cherry tomatoes
– 1 small bunch of basil
– 20 g butter
– a drizzle of olive oil
– Salt, pepper, flaky sea salt
– A few crushed walnuts
– A drizzle of balsamic cream
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan-assisted).
2. Cut the baguette into thin slices and butter them. Bake 8 to 10 minutes so the bread is nicely golden and crispy. Let cool at room temperature.
3. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and finely chop the fresh basil. Mix the tomatoes with the basil and a little olive oil in a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Let marinate for about ten minutes.
4. Arrange the slices of bread in a crown shape on a large platter or board.
5. Spread each slice with garlic and herb cream cheese. Place a spoonful of tomato on each toast and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
