De l’ail rôti sur une pizza ? C’est une explosion de saveurs !
What we love most about pizzas? You can truly vary them endlessly according to our cravings. And today, we wanted a well-fragranced, flavorful garlic pizza. The recipe is super easy: slowly confit garlic cloves with a bit of chili, then spread this mixture on a homemade pizza dough. Then we add parmesan and mozzarella for indulgence and fresh oregano for a twist. After a few minutes of baking, the result is undeniable! It’s totally addictive—the sweetness of the confit garlic, the melted cheese, and the crust that is crispy and yet soft at the same time.
If you prefer tomato sauce pizzas, we have plenty of recipes for you. But we highly recommend trying today’s garlic-roasted version, it’s a real delight! You can even top it with a little arugula, for example, or a lovely creamy burrata for even more pleasure. So, who will you share this garlic pizza with? Us, we’ll keep it all to ourselves!
To make this recipe, follow the steps below :
GARLIC PIZZA 🍕🧄
Serves 4
Ingredients :
For the pizza dough :
– 300 g of T55 wheat flour
– 1 sachet of dried baker’s yeast (about 5 g)
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil
– 180 ml warm water
For the topping :
– 12 garlic cloves
– a drizzle of olive oil
– a pinch of chili flakes
– 30 g parmesan
– 50 g mozzarella
– Fresh oregano
Preparation :
1. Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl.
2. Dissolve the baker’s yeast in the warm water, mix and let rest a few minutes.
3. Make a well in the flour and pour in the water with the yeast and the olive oil. Knead for a few minutes until you obtain a soft dough that no longer sticks to your fingers.
4. Cover with a cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for at least 1h30; it should double in size.
5. In the meantime, place the peeled garlic cloves in a dish and generously drizzle with olive oil. Season with the chili flakes and salt, mix, then bake for 40 minutes at 180°C to confit them.
6. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured work surface. Distribute the roasted garlic cloves over the dough and gently crush them with a fork. Sprinkle with grated parmesan and mozzarella and add fresh oregano.
7. Bake the pizza until it is nicely puffed and golden. Enjoy immediately!
