Today, we’re presenting one of our favorite drinks for this summer: a Brazilian hibiscus lemonade! It’s super fresh, very colorful, and the fruity and tangy flavors of this non-alcoholic beverage are divine. To make it at home in just three steps, it’s really simple! We infuse hibiscus and wait for it to cool. On the side, we blend whole limes with water for the base of the drink. Finally, we mix all the ingredients (hibiscus infusion, blended limes, agave syrup and sweetened condensed milk). The texture is perfect and the aromas are wonderfully refreshing!

We bet you won’t be able to go through the season without it. Sipped during the day or at cocktail hour, you can toast in peace! Don’t hesitate to add plenty of ice for extra freshness and to decorate with a small lime wedge for the visual touch. It’s tasty and easy to make; impossible to resist this lemonade this summer!

BRAZILIAN HIBISCUS LEMONADE (HIBISCUS) 🌺🩷

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

– 2 tablespoons hibiscus for infusion
– 300 ml boiling water
– 4 limes
– 100 ml water
– 30 ml agave syrup
– 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
– 2 lime wedges

Preparation:

1. In a pitcher, infuse the hibiscus with the boiling water for about 10 minutes. When the infusion is cold, strain.

2. In a blender, place the limes cut into quarters with the 100 ml of water. Blend for a few seconds, then strain to remove as much pulp as possible.

3. Mix the blended limes with the agave syrup, the hibiscus infusion and the sweetened condensed milk. Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes and with a lime wedge.
