3 Snoopy-Themed Desserts for an Unforgettable Kids’ Party

The Snoopy fever is among us! And the obsession with this adorable dog has become a trend, so more and more products, accessories, and decorations inspired by the famous beagle are appearing. So much so that nowadays boys and girls also want to have their kids’ party with this theme, from invitations to decorations and, of course, the dessert table.

If you are a Snoopylover or your little ones are fans of this character, the themed desserts of this canine cannot be missing at the celebration. Today, the candy table has become an important part of any birthday, since in addition to offering different options for guests, it can also become one of the main elements of the decoration.

Are you up for making some Snoopy desserts at home? Then keep reading because we are going to share three creative ideas that you can do easily and that should definitely be part of your themed party. Best of all, you can adapt each of them to the colors and details you already have in the décor to achieve a very beautiful dessert table without making things too complicated.

1. Snoopy Cupcakes

A classic that never fails are vanilla cupcakes, and to turn them into part of your themed party you only need to decorate them in a very simple way. Bake your favorite cupcakes and, once they are completely cool, place a generous layer of white frosting so they have a clean look and can easily match the Snoopy-inspired decor.

To give them the thematic touch you don’t need to be a baking expert. You can use a Snoopy cake topper that you design and print at home. Find an image of the character, print it on thick paper, carefully cut out the figures, and place them on the cupcakes using a toothpick or a small skewer. In this way you will have a simple dessert, but one that will immediately relate to the party’s theme.

You can also add some black or red details on the table to match the cupcakes with the rest of the décor. If you want to make them even more special, you can place different Snoopy designs on the toppers so that each cupcake has a different image and the table looks much more fun.

2. Snoopy Cake Pops

The cake pops are also an excellent option for a kids’ party because, in addition to being easy to eat, you can decorate them in many different ways. And to make these little Snoopy desserts you don’t even need to bake the cake from scratch, since you can use pre-made pound cake or vanilla sponge cake as the base for your cake pops.

Start crumbling the pound cake and mix it gradually with a bit of cream cheese until you obtain a workable dough you can shape with your hands. Form small balls of the same size and place them in the fridge for a few minutes so they keep their shape better before decorating. Then insert the sticks and cover each one with melted white chocolate.

Once the coating has hardened, it’s time to make Snoopy’s details. Use dark chocolate to draw his eyes, nose, and ears, ensuring the strokes are simple. You don’t need everyone to look exactly the same; you can even make different expressions so the cake pops have a more playful touch. Place them on a decorative base or vase and you’ll have a dessert that can also serve as part of the decor.

3. Snoopy Ice Cream Sandwich

If you’re looking for an even easier option, you can turn a traditional ice cream sandwich into a Snoopy-themed dessert. All you need are round cookies and vanilla ice cream, though you can also choose the flavor that kids like best. The idea is to form small sandwiches that you can then decorate in a very simple way.

Place a scoop of ice cream between two round cookies and press lightly so it stays well held. Then, dip about half of each sandwich in melted white chocolate and place them on parchment paper until the coating hardens. If it’s very warm, you can return the sandwiches to the freezer for a few minutes to prevent the ice cream from melting while you decorate.

Finally, use a bit of dark chocolate to draw Snoopy’s characteristic facial details, such as the eyes, the nose, and his long ears. You can help yourself with a small piping bag, a bag with the tip cut, or a toothpick to make the strokes finer. The result will be a simple and fun dessert that you can keep refrigerated until serving time.
