To make it at home, nothing could be easier: cut the feta into cubes, place it in a sterilized jar, and add plenty of aromatics to give the cheese maximum flavor. Then, simply cover everything with olive oil and let it rest in the fridge for a few hours to allow all the aromas to infuse. To make this recipe, follow the steps below:
MARINATED FETA 😍
For a half-liter jar
Ingredients :
– 400 g feta (block)
– 4 sun-dried tomatoes
– 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
– 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
– 3 Tbsp oregano
– 2 garlic cloves
– 2 basil leaves
– 150 ml olive oil (approximately)
Preparation :
1. Sterilize a jar by pouring in boiling water.
2. Cut the feta into cubes and place them in the clean jar. Also add the sun-dried tomatoes cut into small cubes.
3. Season with chopped parsley, chili flakes, oregano, garlic cloves, and basil leaves. Pour olive oil until all ingredients are covered.
4. Close the jar, gently mix by shaking, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
5. Store for a maximum of 3 to 4 days!
