– 2 sheets of puff pastry
– 4 slices of ham
– 200 g mozzarella
– 3 tablespoons of pesto
– 1 egg yolk
– Sesame seeds
Easy and quick recipe for the sun-tart aperitif
1. Unroll a first puff pastry sheet onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the pesto, leaving a border of about 1 cm.
2. Add the ham cut into pieces and the mozzarella. Cover with the second puff pastry sheet.
3. Place a bowl or a glass in the center of the dough. Cut strips all around, then remove the glass. Twist each strip onto itself.
4. Brush with egg yolk and then sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C.
5. Let the sun-tart cool a bit before serving.
