Puget Olive Oil with Salt and Pepper: The World’s Simplest Yet Most Flavorful Recipe

Through its new brand universe, Puget aims to place at the center of the table a sincere, generous, and accessible cuisine. After all, wouldn’t a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper be enough to elevate any dish?

With 160 years of history, Puget, France’s number one olive oil brand, writes a new chapter in its book with this authentic, sincere campaign that smells of sunshine. “Puget, salt, pepper,” a signature that sounds like an accessible and generous recipe, within everyone’s reach and that promises to transform any product into a delicious dish. The campaign, imagined by the Romance agency, embodies a return to the roots with raw ingredients, a simple gesture, and moments of sharing that bring people together. A return to the very essence of Puget.

Created in 1857 on the Vieux-Port of Marseille, Puget olive oil has continually reinvented itself without forgetting its taste and know-how. With its oleologists tasked with assembling different varieties of olive oils with precision, Puget guarantees flavors that are stable, harmonious but above all inimitable. It’s no accident that it remains France’s No. 1 olive oil brand! In 2024, some 15 million bottles were sold, capturing a market share of 16.3%. Present in nearly 4.9 million households in France, Puget is appreciated for its unique recipe that enhances flavors without masking them!

Like an ode to Provence, Puget embodies the sun and the raw, honest taste of olive oil. That is precisely the aim of this new campaign: we do not mask the products, we enhance them with Puget olive oil, salt and pepper. They elevate flavors, bring roundness and depth to reveal the richness of the raw products selected. Puget is the new link between flavors, generations, and guests.

And to celebrate this new identity and its 160 years (with a year to spare), a new bottle is unveiled for 2026! More modern and elegant, the packaging highlights the purity of the oil and the brand’s historical know-how, in resonance with the campaign “Puget, salt, pepper.” So if your taste buds are already buzzing, we’re sharing a recipe from chef Eric Reithler to (re)discover all the sunny flavors of Puget olive oil in a simple and indulgent dish!

– 2 sea breams of 500 g each
– 2 lemons
– 2 courgettes
– 1 red bell pepper
– 1 yellow bell pepper
– 1 eggplant
– 1 red onion
– 3 garlic cloves
– 1 small bunch of basil
– Paprika
– Turmeric
– Fleur de sel
– Freshly ground pepper
Crumble : 70 g flour + 30 g Puget extra-virgin olive oil + 30 g Parmesan

Preparation :

1. Peel the red onion and the garlic cloves, then slice them finely. Seed the peppers, trim the ends of the courgettes and the eggplant. Cut the vegetables into 1 cm dice.

2. In a hot pan with 3 tablespoons Puget extra-virgin olive oil, sauté the onions, garlic and all the vegetables separately over medium heat for 5 minutes. Gather the vegetables in a casserole and simmer for a few minutes. Salt, pepper and keep warm.

3. Make three diagonal slits on each side of the sea breams and place in each slit a half-thick slice of lemon.

4. In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons Puget extra-virgin olive oil with 1 teaspoon paprika and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. With a brush, brush each side of the sea breams and bake for 20 minutes at 160°C.

5. In a bowl, mix the flour, Puget extra-virgin olive oil, the parmesan and a pinch of fleur de sel until a crumble forms. Spread flat on a sheet of parchment paper and bake at 200°C for 10 minutes. Let cool, then crumble coarsely.

6. Serve the sea breams with ratatouille and sprinkle with crumble and chopped basil. Bon appétit 😋
