BRIOCHE MILK BUNS WITH SHRIMP AND AVOCADO 🦐🥑
Serves 2
Ingredients :
– 4 milk buns
– 20 g melted butter
– 200 g cooked and peeled shrimp
– 1 ripe avocado
– 2 spring onions
– 3 sprigs of cilantro
– 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
– 1 tablespoon sriracha
– A splash of lime juice
– Salt, pepper
– Fried onions
Preparation :
1. Trim the edges of the milk buns to remove the crust and obtain clean faces (as in the video) then slash them to create an opening without cutting them all the way in two.
2. Brush the faces with the melted butter and toast them in a pan on each side until golden.
3. Dice the shrimp and avocado into small cubes and finely chop the spring onion. Mix everything with the mayonnaise, the sriracha and the lime juice until a smooth filling forms.
4. Taste and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
