The Surprising Madeleine Cocktail Recipe
Three ingredients, two steps, one minute of preparation. The Madeleine cocktail is truly one of the simplest and quickest cocktails to prepare at home! To recreate it, you only need Cointreau (or another triple sec), Amaretto and well-chilled pineapple juice. We opted for the milk frother technique to homogenize it, but you can shake everything for a few seconds (with or without ice). To be enjoyed as a cocktail or as a shot, this sweet-and-bitter drink should be consumed with moderation, it can be quite treacherous…
For a little backstory, we call this cocktail Madeleine because it evokes the taste of a classic cake. Between the sweet almond notes of Amaretto, the citrus flavors of Cointreau, and the fruit’s sweetness from the pineapple juice, it wakes childhood memories in a single sip. We bet you’ll surprise your guests with this easy recipe, ready in record time and with only three ingredients! And if you want to toast with a non-alcoholic drink, here are our best mocktails to make urgently.
